Lamin-x headlight protection film is designed to help protect vehicle lighting from stone chips, scratches, insects, and road debris. Products are available for headlights, fog lights, and taillights in transparent and selected colored films.

Protection depends on the product, installation, use, and impact involved. No protective film can prevent every type of damage.

Yes. Lamin-x Europe offers vehicle-specific precut protective-film kits where available, along with Lamin-x film by the metre, Lamin-x rolls, and Ricochet PPF rolls.

Ricochet PPF is transparent, self-healing paint protection film designed to help protect painted vehicle surfaces against stone chips, scratches, abrasion, and road debris. Eligible Ricochet paint protection film is supported by a ten-year commercial manufacturer warranty, subject to the complete warranty terms.

Many temporary installation marks improve as Lamin-x lighting protection film cures. The film is breathable and self-healing, so small scratches, trapped moisture, and many bubbles may dissipate over time. Installation creases or ripples may also settle during curing.

If a bubble or mark does not improve, stop before attempting an aggressive correction and contact Lamin-x Europe for advice. Retain the film, backing liner, labels, and packaging if you believe the product may be defective.

For the recommended PPF slip solution, add approximately 3.5 ml of FilmOn installation solution or baby shampoo to one litre of distilled water.

Application conditions and installer technique can affect the required mixture. Follow the instructions supplied with the product and adjust only when appropriate for the installation.

Rules for films applied to vehicle lighting differ between countries and jurisdictions. Promofolia GmbH advises that films applied to headlights, fog lights, taillights, or other vehicle lighting are not approved for public-road use in Germany under the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO).

These products are intended only for motorsport, racing, show, exhibition, or other non-public-road use where permitted. Customers and installers are responsible for checking the rules that apply where the vehicle will be used.

Many Lamin-x.eu products are cut or prepared after an order is placed, so processing time may be required before dispatch. Any processing or delivery estimate shown at checkout or in the order confirmation is an estimate unless a fixed delivery date has been expressly agreed.

Available shipping methods and prices are calculated at checkout using the delivery address, package weight and dimensions, and selected service.

Lamin-x Europe does not normally process direct product exchanges. Contact Promofolia GmbH before returning anything. Depending on the circumstances, the matter may be handled under statutory consumer rights or the voluntary return policy, after which a separate replacement order can be placed.

Consumers generally have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for eligible online purchases. However, the right may not apply to goods cut, prepared, or manufactured according to the customer’s specifications or to clearly personalized goods.

In addition to applicable statutory rights, Promofolia GmbH voluntarily accepts eligible return requests made within a total period of 30 days after receipt. Eligible voluntary returns are subject to a 25% cutting, material-handling, and restocking deduction.

The voluntary-return deduction does not apply to an applicable statutory withdrawal or to an accepted claim for defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Stop installation if the problem becomes apparent. Where possible, place the film back on the supplied backing liner and retain the product, liner, labels, packaging, and shipping materials.

Contact Promofolia GmbH promptly with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs. Do not discard or return material unless instructed. Defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or non-conforming goods are handled separately from voluntary returns, and statutory rights remain unaffected.

Eligible Lamin-x protective films are covered by a five-year commercial manufacturer warranty. Eligible Ricochet paint protection films are covered by a ten-year commercial manufacturer warranty. Coverage begins on the original purchase date and is subject to the complete warranty conditions and exclusions.

These commercial warranties provide benefits in addition to statutory consumer rights and do not replace or restrict those rights. Customers who purchased through laminx.eu should submit claims to Promofolia GmbH.
